CD Release Concert featuring Cindy Minkler pianist and Michele Edwards, vocalist
Cindy Minkler, pianist will be performing songs from her latest CD, Holdin' Me Up. Michele Edwards, vocalist will be singing gospel songs from the CD and her own favorites.
Bio:
Cindy (Lakota Sioux Indian) graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a B.A. in Music Education (K-12) and Piano Performance. Since then, she's been an educator, graduation speaker, free lance pianist, piano teacher and performer. Back in the 90's, she was seen on the hit dramedy television show "Northern Exposure." In 2003 she was invited to perform at the American Indian Film Festival in San Francisco where she featured her original composition, "Battle of the Little Big Horn." Cindy performed and won an award at last year's West Coast American Indian Music Awards Show in Washington and is currently performing around the Pacific Northwest. http://www.nwin.tv/NWIN-Welcome.html (view Episode 39) Cindy is available for concerts, weddings, school assemblies and divorce parties.
Michele Edwards, vocalist and music minister at Blaine United Church of Christ has been singing all her life. She currently co leads Bellingham Gospel Community Choir.
Audiences love her energetic presence and her talent keeps audiences on their feet.
