Program: sker * ry, n. pl. skerries (Norway, Scotland) 1. Rocky offshore islets or reefs that have broken away from a larger rock formation.
The Skerries is an instrumental band led by master guitarist and composer Bill Horvitz; with Scott Walton on acoustic bass; Tom Hayashi on drums. Performing all original instrumental jazz, folk, and rock-based music, this new band has been delighting audiences and having a great time doing so! All three musicians have impeccable credentials and experience in jazz, improvisation, classical and avant-garde composition and recording.
