Nancy Erickson Quartet, featuring Nancy Erickson on vocals, Eric Verlinde on piano, Chris Symer on bass, and Max Wood on drums.
Nancy Erickson has established herself as a vocally creative staple in the Pacific Northwest Jazz scene. Following her 2011 well-received debut CD, Prelude, performances in Japan and around the Northwest, Nancy is making her mark with her sophomore release, While Strolling Through the Park (released January 2016) which delivers mature vocals, three original songs, and some unexpected arrangements of jazz standards. With influences like Nancy Wilson, Frank Sinatra, Dianne Reeves, and Peggy Lee, Nancy Erickson's rich, mellow alto voice has been compared to Karen Carpenter and Diana Krall.
Nancy Erickson's passion for jazz music is demonstrated in her pin-drop ballads and the rapport she has with her band and the audience.
