LATE NITE ART 4: MISSION
DATE: Wednesday September 26th
TIME: 6:00 - 9:30pm
LOCATION: Red Poppy Art House,2698 Folsom Street, San Francisco, CA 94110
(5 blocks from 24th St. and Mission BART Station)
TICKETS: $25 - $30 entrance fee includes the workshop, art supplies, and a three-course menu of delicious local dishes courtesy of Grace Hearth. (There will be an additional 2 drink minimum ~$10 at the bar)
ABOUT: LATE NITE ART it is an evening of collaborative art-making, ambient music, to-die-for food and insightful discussion. In a few words, it's a social art experience. LATE NITE ART is a facilitated workshop that encourages you to work in free form. You can expect to meet interesting people, swirl around some tasty alcoholic beverages in your mouth, and treat your taste buds to some delicious eats. LATE NITE ART is an open platform for all non-artists and artists alike to come together. You don't need to be able to color within the lines or draw portraits of fruit bowls you just need eyes, ears, and an open mind.
What mission or adventure are you on? Our theme for LATE NITE ART 4 is "MISSION." We will be exploring the history, identity, and culture of San Francsico's Mission District, as well as our own present or life-long mission.
MENU:
Mingler:
Fresh Tortilla Chips with a Selection of Salsas and Dip - Salsa Verde, Yucatecan Pumpkin Seed Dip and Smoked Chipotle Salsa
Main Nibble:
Pozole with Cumin-Stewed Black Turtle Beans and Saffron Rice
Mixed Local Greens with Honey Lime Dressing and Candied Pepitas
Dessert:
Aztec Chocolate Mini Bundt Cakes with Ganache Frosting
$10 Bar Drink Minimum
Given that we can only accommodate a maximum of 30 people, we require your confirmation in advance to guarantee you a seat.
We ask you to respect the time frame allotted for the event - 6.00PM - 9.30PM. This is an immersive experience that begins and ends with the same amount of people: no tardies and no early departees!
(Also a little note on policy, there are no refunds/extensions!)
