Buxton, An Evening With
Buxton, a five piece indie folk-rock ensemble from Houston, TX, offer a fusion of lovely harmonies, jarring explosions of energy and meticulously applied instrumentation. Having developed a strong following in Texas and honed their live show to a sharp point, the band is beginning to capture attention on a national level, with their recent release Nothing Here Seems Strange having made Paste Magazine'sBest of 2012 so far list and Esquire Magazine giving them a nod as a "band to watch". Portland music veterans An Evening With pair up nicely, offering alt-country rockers and project ringleader Jeremy Alexander's well-wrought songs of love and loss.
