MUSIC FROM CATALUNYA Luca Natali Stradivari
Italian musician and composer Luca Natali Stradivari is a direct descendant of the great violin maker Stradivarius. His own instrument is the piano and he has composed a series of variations especially for ¡Barcelona Solo! based on the works of Catalan composers belonging to the famous Generation of 1898 including Granados and Albeniz. His work is seen as innovative and avant grade and on this occasion he will perform Catalan poems along side his new compositions.
Lucas music has won awards and been heard around the world and we are proud to welcome him to the Festival. Watch out for his CDs on sale after the show!
