Mystic Chorale: OUR VOICES WILL BE HEARD: Songs of Protest and Hope
What better time to raise our voices for democracy and justice than now, during this remarkable fall of 2016? Come be uplifted as 175 Mystic Chorale voices soar in OUR VOICES WILL BE HEARD: Songs of Protest and Hope. For 27 years the Mystic Chorale has believed in the power of song and of people singing together to build a better world.
This concert reaches from Civil War hymns to more contemporary songs by Crosby, Stills & Nash, Joni Mitchell, Keb Mo, Ysaye Barnwell, Pat Humphries, Nick Page and others. As always in Mystic concerts, you, our audience, will be part of the community, singing along (and maybe dancing!).
The focus of this deeply affecting program will be on justice and struggle, freedom and hope!
