Hank, Pattie & The Current, Nov. 19th @ Forty Acres
After a summer hiatus, Forty Acres is back with some great shows featuring very talented artists.
On Saturday, November 19, Hank, Pattie & the Current bring their soulful, vibrant sounds to the Five Oaks clubhouse at 5109 Pinecone Drive in Durham. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and show starts at 8.
Hank, Pattie & the Current is a Raleigh NC based quintet fronted by Hank Smith (Barefoot Manner, Kickin Grass Band) on Banjo and Pattie Hopkins Kinlaw (Kickin Grass Band, Long Bay Symphony) on fiddle and vocals. The sound is a soulful evolution of American acoustic music weaving Bluegrass into the tapestry of jazz, blues, and classical styles.
