Hometown Hootenanny: Singers Showdown
Amateur vocalists get their chance to shine and compete for prizes at the second annual Hometown Hootenanny Singers Showdown, set for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 25, at the Historic Everett Theatre.
Contestants will compete for cash awards, prizes and a performance opportunity in two categories: Adult Vocalist, and 16 and Under Vocalist.
Judges include Dan Leal, lead vocalist for the Hometown Band, local musician Jim Brunkhorst (others to be announced). The audience will also get to vote for their favorites in each of the categories.
The Hometown Hootenanny is a family-friendly event, presenting live music and a variety of entertainers in a classic venue in downtown Everett.
