The Fall Ball with the Cree Rider Family Band and 'Misisipi' Mike Wolf
St. Louis' own, The Cree Rider Family Band, stays true to its own instincts to create a modern honky-tonk country sound that is rooted in tradition, but firmly planted in the here and now. Vocals and harmony are a focus, but the full band expertly compliments each song. Known for their energetic and engaging live shows, the Cree Rider Family Band has been called a subversive country band that wears its heart on its sleeve.
The Cree Rider Family Band will be joined by Crees long time friend and collaborator Misisipi Mike Wolf. Born on the gulf coast of Mississippi, but now hailing from San Francisco, CA, Misisipi Mike is a songwriter in the vein of John Prine and Merle Haggard. His music has been featured on nationally broadcast radio and television and he has been twice voted as "Best Singer/Songwriter" by readers of the San Francisco Bay Guardian. Together they will perform a special acoustic listening set followed by a set with the full band.
