BROTHER SUN in CONCERT
Three singer/songwriters will make harmony in a concert at UU Fellowship, Lawton Street, in San Luis Obispo, CA. They call themselves BROTHER SUN, Pat Wictor, Joe Jencks and Greg Greenway, and will be visiting the Central Coast on August 24th at 7PM for a concert.
Their harmonies as much as their lyrics tell what they are about: warm as a campfire, stiring as a gospel church, rousing as a call to arms. Calling upon contemporary songwriting and informed by the deep roots of gospel, blues and folk, the trio weaves a tapestry of harmonies that is brilliantly fresh and yet familiar.
Nationally touring folk artists coming from 3 major cities: Boston, New York and Chicago. Their debut CD has been in the top 40 on the Folk DJ chart for almost an entire year. Homepage: www.brothersunmusic.com
