The Bankesters CD Release Concert

Join us for a special night of amazing bluegrass as The Bankesters return to The Old Feed Store!

It's been three years since their last recording and the long wait is over. "We've spent a great deal of time and our own resources over the summer writing and finding material, and recording a brand new album, Nightbird!"

Blending beautiful harmonies of singing sisters Emily Bankester on fiddle, Alysha Bankester on mandolin, and Melissa Bankester Triplett on bass, with Kyle Triplett on banjo, and dad Phil on guitars), The Bankesters continue to evolve and develop from a young group of talented musicians and vocalists to masters of their genre. Their 6th release Nightbird, will prove this out.

Emily won the first International Bluegrass Music Association Momentum award for vocalist of the year and the band has been previously nominated for the IBMA's Momentum award for band of the year.
