Tequila Mockingbirds
Saratoga's own Tequila Mockingbirds play jaw-droppingly tight acoustic guitar instrumentals. They were voted the Capital region's "Best Acoustic Duo" in Metroland Magazine's 2007 and 2008 readers' polls, "Best Jazz Group" in the 2007 Times Union's "Best of the Capital Region" readers' poll, and tied for 3rd place "Best Jazz Group" in 2011. The Mockingbirds are guitarist/vocalist Peter Pashoukos, and George Fletcher, who has recorded with a who's who list of the top stars of American rock and pop. They play an impressive range of music from Django Reinhardt's gypsy jazz to Southside blues to American Songbook standards done in a fresh, new way. Hear them once and you'll be hooked!
