El Teatro Campesino proudly presents a new theatrical oratorio conceived and composed by local legend Daniel Valdez entitled Cancion de San Juan: Oratorio of a Mission Town. Researched and shaped by local San Juan residents, this exciting laboratory production promises to honor history's forgotten voices through music and images-and the tantalizing tales of real folks who lived and died staking a claim to this little corner of the world. This Labor Day Week-end, come experience the living drama that is the three hundred-year story of San Juan Bautista-made magical by a world-famous musical maestro!
