On Wednesday, September 5th, Folkadelphia is excited to present the return of Brooklyn based chamber-folk rockers The Loom. We last saw them in November 2011 when they stopped by Folkadelphia Radio where they blew us away with their dynamic performance and enthralling songs. Paste Magazine describes the band as "weaving rich sonic textures with intangible joy." Also performing is the Milwaukee dodecatet (yes, twelve member) Group of the Altos, who could be described as existing in the same musical universe as Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and Death Blues, the multidisciplinary project of composer and percussionist Jon Mueller that addresses the inevitability of death as impetus to become more present in each moment.
