The glorious sounds of medieval English carols (from the verb caroler, to dance and sing) created for the Christmas revelries at Church and Court. Be transported by the mellifluous harmonies of these songs, including compositions by John Dunstable and Lionel Power, sung in the unequaled acoustic of St. James Cathedral.
FROM SANTIAGO TO CANTERBURY Pilgrimages for the Ages

A musical journey to the three most celebrated pilgrimage sites of the medieval world: Jerusalem, Santiago de Compostela and Canterbury. Baritone David Stutz joins the choir and instrumentalists Peggy Monroe and Bill McJohn in a program that includes the famous Palestinalied by Walter von der Vogelweide and O Jerusalem by St. Hildegard of Bingen; laments for the untimely death of Thomas Becket at Canterbury; and music from the famous Camino de Santiago, the pilgrimage route to the shrine of Saint James in northern Spain.

The unparalleled songs of the 12th-century German visionary are brought to life in a celebration of the recent canonization of this most remarkable woman: abbess, mystic, writer, poet, healer. Soprano Marian Seibert joins the choir and the instruments Hildegard so admired in a heavenly tribute to one of the most fascinating figures of the Middle Ages.
