Culver Casson in HEART & HOME
David Katz & Hat City Music, in cooperation with the Danbury Museum and CityCenter Danbury, present Culver Casson in her New York Cabaret Concert, HEART & HOME, featuring songs about family & friends, life and living in the greatest city in the world.
The performance is the first in a new series of concerts to take place in the Marian Anderson Studio on the campus of the Danbury Museum. HEART & HOME features pop standards, such as "Take Me Back to Manhattan," and "Autumn in New York", Leonard Bernstein's "Island Magic", traditional melodies including "There's No Place Like Home," and comedy songs like "I Furnished My One Room Apartment."
HEART & HOME is made possible in part by a grant from the Connecticut Commission on Culture & Tourism. Proceeds benefit Hat City Music, the Danbury Museum and CityCenter Danbury.
