Dr. Wolfgang Reisinger, Concert Organist
Concert organist Wolfgang Reisinger is active as a church musician, composer, conductor, and educator in his home city of Vienna, Austria. Among other positions in Austria, he has served as the organist at St. Florian abbey (playing Anton Bruckners instrument), and the director of church music and organ building for the Archdiocese of Vienna. He has concertized extensively throughout Europe, as well as in Russia, China, Korea, and the United States. He is a special proponent and teacher of the art of organ improvisation. Dr. Reisingers concert last year was an audience favorite, featuring both unique repertoire and two improvisations composed on the spot. Come hear this internationally-known artist in the beautiful setting and rich acoustic of the Cathedral of Saint Joseph!
