ENNY WALKER - The Australian town of Echuca - best known for the old-time paddle steamers weaving their way along the waters of the mighty Dungala (Murray River) and through the lands of the Yorta Yorta people - can add a new attraction to its list. His name is Benny Walker. Benny's music offers an effortless blend of soul, blues, reggae and acoustic folk, combining raw, heartfelt honesty with upbeat, catchy rhythms that you'll be humming for days.
After a busy couple of years touring every state and capital city of Australia, including some of the country's finest festivals, Benny is heading abroad for the first time to perform at festivals and concert series in Canada, including the prestigious Planet IndigenUS Festival in Ontario. His rich, soulful voice will be complemented on stage by the intuitive drumming of Cat Leahy and the infectious sounds of roots slide guitarist Tom Richardson.
