Hasselberg & Lewis @ Bob Baker's!
Hasselberg & Lewis present a beautiful program specially curated for the intimate setting of the Bob Baker and Beth Carter Residence (Dunbar area - Vancouver).
The dynamic and versatile duo will perform musical works by composers Rudolf Komorous, Rodney Sharman, Linda Catlin Smith, John Oswald, Hildegard von Bigen, Henry Purcell, Manuel de Falla, Eden Ahbez, and John Cage, as well as a newly commissioned work by Christopher Reiche. This program's strong poetic/literary component ranges from 6th century BC Sappho to 8th century Han Shan, 19th century Rainer Maria Rilke, and texts of postcards found on a flea market in recent years.
Suggested arrival time: 7pm
Music starts: 7.30pm
To somehow protect the privacy of the Baker and Carter Residence, its exact address will only be disclosed to the audience members once the ticket has been purchased, but for your convinience, we would like to share in advance that the Residence is located in Vancouver's Dunbar area.
