Prayers of the People
Join us as we explore this very human expression through the works of Stephen Paulus, Fredrik Sixten, Francis Poulenc and more.
We use prayer to explore and express emotions and declare our hopes and dreams for our world. We all communicate with the divine in different ways with different words and rituals. In this concert we will share some our favorite prayers in a choral format.
Multiple works by the composers above as well as selections by Jake Runestad, Julius Reisenthal and Eric Barnum. Also featuring the rarely performed COMPLETE setting of Miserere by Antonio Lotti. This concert will be a concise one hour program with a short five minute intermission.
