Gun Driver is set in the year 2017, ten years after the end of the Final World War, a nuclear/biological/chemical war that resulted in near complete destruction of the planet.

Jesse 01776 is a talented driver the best in the world. To support his gambling enterprise, Brutus Van Tangelo, overlord of Earth Containment Zone EA-05 has kidnapped Jesses hospitalized mother, promising her survival in exchange for Jesses skill behind the wheel. Extorted into driving in Van Tangelos dangerous drag races, Jesse must find hope and the will to live in a future that is totally fucked up.

Sonja 01984 is the evil Van Tangelos most adept mechanic having built many of his fastest racing cars. Her young sister, but a child, is imprisoned in one of Van Tangelos underground slave-labor camps. Brave Sonja, forced to build engines for the races, works day and night to finish extra vehicles, selling them to rival gang-lords in a defiant act of secret treachery, all to save up enough Credits to bribe the prison guards and free her innocent sister.

Jesse and Sonja team up in rebellion against the self-proclaimed Boss of America and his soulless goons and thugs, embarking on a bloodthirsty adventure of romance and revenge!
