Kelly Park Big Band with Steph Johnson Band
The Kelly Park Big Band has been in residence at the Sound Room for the last 2 years. During that time they have honed their craft and created an amazing selection of original Big Band pieces. A Big Band that is harmonically tight and well orchestrated is a beautiful thing!

This month the Steph Johnson Band will open for the Big Band. Led by vocalist/ guitarist / songwriter Steph Johnson with Rob Thorsen on upright bass the duo "delivers a fiery blend of jazz and soul, not to be missed" (NBC / Robert Bush). They are celebrating the release of their new CD "Music is Art", produced by grammy award winning Kamau Kenyatta (Gregory Porter - 2014 Best jazz vocal). Come join us for a high energy show featuring one of San Diego's top bands.
