In Conversation with Jon Drever - The Smalls Film Festival 2016
We are pleased to welcome Jon Drever for this special and intimate insight into the award-winning filmmaker's prolific career. This event will look back over Drever's career and experiences, insights into co-owning production company Grain Media which was previously nominated for an Oscar for it's feature documentary Virunga. Predominantly a commercials directior, Drever has directed work from some of the world's largest brands including Nike, New Balance, Samsung and Nestle.
2015 saw the release of Drever's debut feature SuperBo, marking the birth of Britain's first ever superhero rom-com, starring Brett Goldstein and Catherine Tate to name a few. Described as a "modern romantic classic" by Ricky Gervais, the feature was a success across cinemas worldwide.
