#Be Robin The Movie
Rare Bay Area showing with the director in attendance and a panel discussion following the screening.
#BeRobinTheMovie is an award winning documentary by Kurt Weitzmann about Margaret Chos homeless outreach campaign in 2014, inspired by the philanthropy of the late comedian and actor Robin Williams.
After the death of her dear friend Robin Williams, Margaret Cho took to the streets of San Francisco with the mantra Dont grieve Robin, BE Robin.
What began as busking on the streets of San Francisco with a guitar case and a sign rapidly turned into hundreds of musicians, comedians, and activists offering food, clothes, money, and awareness in an amazing humanitarian street theater experience.
