Allison Adams Tucker - WANDERlust Release Tour
"Mesmerizing, whether in English, Japanese, French Join multi-lingual vocalist Allison Adams Tucker as she returns to Oakland celebrating the release of her third album WANDERlust (Origin Records) recorded in NYC under the direction of award-winning producer Matt Pierson (Brad Mehldau, Jane Monheit) and featuring a stunning all-star ensemble (Chris Potter, Antonio Sanchez, Scott Colley, Josh Nelson, Romero Lubambo, Mike Moreno, Stephane Wrembel, Rogerio Boccato). WANDERlust journeys into new territory with jazz inspired songs that span countries and genres in 6 languages with music from Björk and Christina Perri to Astor Piazzolla, Pat Metheny and Jobim to Ennio Morricone, and even ancient Japanese folk songs.
Allison's voice can be heard on national jingles and video games, and her interpretation of "La Vie En Rose" is one to the top downloads worldwide. She performs regularly in Japan, Europe, Mexico and around the US, and is joined by a world-class group for her Sound Room release show, including album arranger and Los Angeles pianist Josh Nelson, Daniel Fabricant bass, and Kelly Fasman drums.
