International Heritage Music Series: Gregoire de la Costa
Gregoire de la Costa is a multidisciplinary guitarist, writer, arranger, and teacher. His music is the sum of his exposure to South American and Spanish classical, jazz, rhythm and blues, flamenco, and rock of various peculiarities.
Gregoire is currently supporting his latest record Pluviophile with a host of talented players and recording sketches for his new album Tune X due out early next year.
Alma Kenow will be opening the show with a short set of pieces for classical guitar. Gregoire will be joined by drummer Jamie Finison.
Part of the International Heritage Music Series. Based on the idea that music is inherent to strengthening community in cultures around the world, the series celebrates regional music and dance traditions.
