Event
Greg Silsby and Dustin Greer
Greg Silsby (formally front man for renowned Bluegrass band Cumberland Gap) is a long, tall drink of mountain water, with a tenor voice that cuts through the air like a sharpened wing. Hes not smooth, he doesnt croon or wail, but his pitch is precise and his feel for original and traditional American material is convincing. Dustin Greer is a multi-instrumentalist with emphasis on traditional bluegrass guitar and Monroe-style mandolin. In addition to playing with countless bands from West to Midwest, Dustin also teaches advanced classes at the KDHX Folk School.
Mike Zanger (opening artist), owner/operator of infamous Log House Concerts of Edwardsville IL, is also a fine guitarist and crafty songwriter. This one will be a funun !
