The Novel Jazz Septet
The Novel Jazz Septet returns to the Frontier Cinema, Café and Gallery on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 8:00 PM to feature the swinging music of the great American jazz composer, Duke Ellington, plus fellow co-composer, Billy Strayhorn. The band will highlight well-known tunes, plus rare, vintage gems, recently unearthed from original scores at the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. and re-interpreted for you at Frontier. These guys travel all over, keeping the spirit of Duke and 'Sweet Pea alive and swinging!
