Balancing Stakeholder Value Equations: Developing HECO's Schofield Generating Station Project
A shared understanding of each stakeholders needs, capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses during project development can optimize value propositions, and set the stage for project success. In the midst of a controversial energy environment, Hawaiian Electric has quietly developed a $160M project to construct a new 50 megawatt power plant that has something for everyone.
Speakers Bio Jack Shriver retired from the Navy in 2012 with two goals: return home to Oahu and resolve the island's energy issues. As Hawaiian Electric's Project Developer, Project Manager, and Project Engineer for the Schofield Generating Station Project and other new power generation projects, he's achieved the first goal and is working on the second.
