Casino Moderne 2016
The Art Deco Society of Los Angeles presents our annual Fundraiser "Casino Moderne". For one magical night, our guests will be able to immerse themselves in living history, vintage style, legal gaming tables and prohibition-era cocktails in one of the oldest private clubs in Hollywood. The Hollywood Legion Post #43 was founded in 1919 and counts many of old Hollywood's finest professionals among its members. To commemorate "1919", you will have a chance to play on a 1919 roulette table as well as a 1919 pool table! The evening begins at 8pm and ends when the clock strikes twelve! The event will be filled with gaming tables, a guided tour of their museum, 2 cocktail bars, pass light appetizers, and live music by Big Butter Trio.
1920s vintage or vintage inspired evening attire is encouraged, but cocktail attire is required.
21 and older only.
Bar accepts cash and credit card payments.
Gaming prizes will be awarded at the end of the evening. Must be present to win.

*Membership will be verified. Please buy member rate tickets based on your membership level. Principal level is allowed 1 ticket. Household level is allowed 2 tickets.
Tickets will go up $10 at the door.
"Casino Moderne" is a fundraiser for the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles. For this event, ADSLA will also be raising funds towards a restoration light fixture project for this building. The ADSLA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please consider your unused tickets as a contribution to our organization. A portion of your ticket price is tax deductible.
On site parking is $20/car Cash Only. Please mention "Casino Moderne" to get this rate. This parking lot will also be open to the public at a higher price. Availability is based on first come, first serve basis. Parking lot will be open at 6pm. Event officially starts at 8pm. Doors will open at 7:30pm.
There will be 4 spots available for vintage classic cars by the entrance ona first come, first serve basis. Easiest to come southbound on Highland as the building is on the west side. Expect heavier traffic than normal since Hollywood Bowl will be having a concert at 7pm this same evening.
