A Scottish Evening with CAL
CAL- aka, Michael "CAL" Callaghan of Stirling, Scotland is an award-winning singer songwriter that brings his amazing voice and passion for music and Scotland to Colorado once again. He has appeared both as an acoustic solo artist, and with his band at the Longs Peak Scottish/Irish Highlands Festival in Estes Park where he is in demand, and is back once again to woo the fans with his beautiful Celtic songs, as well as his original folk, and rock music that will pull you in and make you sit up and take notice.
CAL, a former foundry worker and boxer for Scotland, is a man that reinvented himself when an industrial accident forced him to start his life completely over. Part of that process led him to a gift for music that he never knew he had, and a new sense of purpose and drive in his spreading his music across the UK, Europe, and now a more focused campaign in the US
A few hit songs in Europe that will make you a new fan if you are new to Celtic Rock include: A Single Kiss, You and I, This Land, and Emotion Overload. This unique acoustic performance showcases his great Scottish sense of humor, the stories in a song, powerful passion for sense of country, and music that makes you want to sing along . . .and he will have you doing just that!
When you spend an Evening With CAL, you get the full sense of his outstanding artistry for music performance and writing.
