Synopsis: In this eccentric musical comedy, three madcap heiresses who live in a Manhattan townhouse with their darling butler gather for the reading of their father's will. A day of Dada poetry reading, intrigue, forbidden romance and mechanical mishaps keep the ladies and their guests gloriously amused.



Filmmaker Lisa Hammer is an award winning director, screenwriter and musician. She is best known for her surrealist, German Expressionist silent films and experimental videos and horror-fairy tales, as well as the voice of Triana Orpheus on Adult Swim's hit cartoon "The Venture Brothers" and her gothic-rock bands "Requiem in White," "Mors Syphlitica" and "Radiana." Hammer's upcoming works include producing a horror movie with director James Merendino ("SLC Punk"). She is honored to have directed the screen adaptation of author Lisa Ferber's masterpiece "The Sisters Plotz (and Their Afternoon of Will Reading and Poetry)."

About The After-Set Independent Film Program

The Program is operated on a weekly basis depending on availability on the screening room at Tribeca Grand Hotel. As a courtesy, we do not charge the filmmakers to screen their films and we allow them to showcase their work to their own audience. However, we do ask for an online admission to keep the program running and we give a weekly contribution to Healing The Children Northeast, an organization that helps doctors travel abroad and operate on children who need medical assistance.
