August 6th and Everything After: A Solo Counting Crows Tribute by Phil Norman
Calling all fans of Counting Crows (and Phil Norman)!
Known for his commanding stage presence and heartfelt delivery, Phil Norman has long-been one of Roanoke's favorite singer-songwriters. In his his time with the party band Monkey Fuzz and Americana/bluegrass act Blue Moonshine, Phil played a few of the hits from Counting Crows' classic 1993 album, "August and Everything After," often joking on stage that, one day, he was going to do a solo show covering the entire record from start to finish.
That joke turned into a challenge, and with encouragement from friends and fellow fans of the album, Phil is bringing his "August 6 and Everything After" show to the Spot on Kirk for one night only. Join us for an intimate evening of sad songs and sing-alongs!
Doors: 7:30 pm Show: 8:00 pm
