Local duo Jack and Tracey Semelsberger, a.k.a. The People's, will be performing songs from their new CD, Songs From the Chicken Shack. The duo's original compositions are country-infused and in the spirit of the singer-songwriter genre. Classic acoustic instrumentation with Jack on guitar, Ed Belling on bass, Russell Rench on mandolin, and Tracey holding down the beat add perfect color and texture to Jack and Tracey's soaring vocal harmonies. The night will feature the latest creations in Jack and Tracey's twenty-plus years of playing songs together, and it will also include some old favorites, as well as a peek at what the next CD might bring.
