Savage Remote: Independent Times in the Emerald Triangle
From the other side of the Redwood Curtain, comes an indie film about building a homegrown comedy scene far from anywhere.
This is a fun and engrossing (not to mention, at times, hilarious!) full-length documentary about the Humboldt Country comedy scene, centered around Savage Henry magazine, a monthly comedy mag with heavy ties to the Bay Area comedy scene
Advance tickets are $10; $12 at the door. Note, for a $20 VIP ticket you get all three gorgeous custom-designed posters for the film.
A Strangebird Films documentary by William Head.
