This Aint no Mouse Music - 2016 World Village Feature Film Screening
Global Lounge presents the second annual 2016 World Village Feature Film Screening, June 4, 2016. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. at the Visual Arts Collective (the VAC) in Garden City (3638 Osage Street, Garden City, Idaho 83714)and the film begins at 8:00 p.m.
Get up close and personal with a trip through the heart of American music in the presentation of This Aint no Mouse Music the story of Chris Strachwitz and Arhoolie Records. This special Feature-length Documentary by Chris Simon and Maureen Gosling chronicles the sounds of great American roots music. Attendees will have the opportunity to stay for an open discussion with film maker Chris Simon immediately following the film.
Global Lounges World Village Feature Films are the signature event that officially marks the beginning of the 2nd annual World Village Fest; this year taking place June 10th-12th in Capitol Park, Downtown Boise).
