The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon
Join in the fun this Summer as we host a wonderful comedy play, directed by  Eric Lewis

The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon

Two narrators attempt to recreate all 209 Brothers Grimm fairy tales in a wild, fast-paced extravaganza. To make it more difficult, they attempt to combine them into one gigantic fable using Rapunzel, Rumpelstiltskin, Hansel and Gretel, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and other more obscure stories like Lean Lisa and The Devil's Grandmother. Join us for this wild free-form comedy with lots of audience participation and madcap fun.

About the Director:  Eric Lewis started his theatrical career as a monkey in a barrel in 5th grade, and has been at it ever since. After attending the Los Angeles City College theater academy, he transferred to the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he received his BFA in Acting. In 1985, he moved to Seattle to pursue acting. He performed at the New City Theater, Empty Space and numerous theaters around town. In 1992, he moved to Pennsylvania State University and spent two years working on his MFA in directing for the theater. He also taught and directed the Junior High School program at Interlochen Arts Camp in Michigan during the summer. He moved back to his beloved Pacific Northwest and settled in Snohomish with his wife, Vicki and daughter, Olivia. Meanwhile, he has kept busy directing at the Historic Everett Theater, Driftwood Players, Sky Performing Arts and the Phoenix Theater where he was Resident Director for two years. Eric founded the Snohomish Theater Project at the Carnegie here in Snohomish, and produced The Christmas Epic and Gilligans Island in the Park-ing Lot. Favorite productions include; One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, Last of the Red Hot Lovers, Somethings Afoot, Seven Year Itch, Private Eyes, The Underpants, Moon Over Buffalo, Da, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, The Golden State, Self Help, Kaputnick, Kimberly Akimbo, Blithe Spirit and Fuddy Meers. In 2014 and 2015 he was delighted and excited to work with Tim Noah on The Kaddywompas Radio Show Project for broadcast on KSER.
