Alison Lewis "Seven" album release party- after 1p.m. today, tickets will be availalbe at the door
Doors open at 6:30 PM.   Performances begin at 7 PM and 9p.m. sharp.
Alison was described by Cabaret Scenes as, "a singer with a hauntingly beautiful voice who transformed the ordinary into the extraordinary with brilliant arrangements and vocal experimentation."  No stranger to stages large and small, Alison has performed in venues ranging from intimate clubs in Europe and the United States to the Skirball Museum in Los Angeles and Lincoln Center in New York. She spent years touring with the six-woman world a cappella group, Vocolot, as well as singing lead with San Franciscos Glide Memorial Gospel Choir, several major cover bands, R&B acts and jazz ensembles at high profile events throughout California.

Her solo release, Seven, features superbly unique takes on some of America's most beloved songs, plus several originals. Alison describes her arrangement method as a re-imagining process, wherein she may alter a song's rhythm, melody, and/or underlying chords in order to uncover a new and deeper appreciation for its meaning. She attributes the success of each composition to equal doses of intuition, thoughtful listening, and inspiration.  

Join her along with a fabulous quintet on Wednesday June 15, 2016 in downtown LA for a concert featuring cuts from this album and more!  
Tickets are $15 online or $20 at the door, and include a copy of the CD.

Reservations are strongly advised at this beautiful and intimate room.
