UNFOLDING PEACE
JUNE 3 4, 2016 DRUID HILLS PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
The AWC closes the season with a focus on peace, both inner and in our world. The concert will feature a commissioned work in honor of Catherine Roma, founder of MUSE, which the AWC will perform with other womens choruses at the 2016 international GALA Choruses Festival (the AWCs debut at this quadrennial event). The selections, many familiar, including Imagine, What a Wonderful World, Sara Bareilles Brave, and Sheryl Crows Safe & Sound, will honor our struggles through adversity as we imagine peace for all.

JUNE 2425, 2016 DRUID HILLS PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
Join the AGMC as we take a road trip across the landscape of our country, visiting New York City, Memphis, San Francisco and more. In Part I, well share stories and images about vacations in these locales from our childhood. Part II will focus on our father and son relationships as the AGMC brings back by popular demand an abridged version of our original work of choral theatre, When I Was Your Age, selected as one of nine featured performances to be given at the 2016 International Festival of GALA Choruses in Denver.
