Speakeasy Dollhouse: The Bloody Beginning is one of the city's most unique, interactive, and surreal theater experiences. Performing to sold-out audiences from 2011-2015, The Bloody Beginning is back for a limited time in an stunning landmark location. Based on a true NYC murder case of bootlegger Frank Spano, Speakeasy Dollhouse immerses audience in a surreal, Prohibition-era time capsule featuring mobsters, moonshine, burlesque and more.

This is an immersive event. Each guest will be assigned a role. Depending upon their preferred level of interactivity, guests can disregard this role or throw themselves wholeheartedly into it. We encourage exploration. Unlocked doors (or bank vaults) should be entered. Ignore the advice your parents gave you as children, be nosy and talk to strangers. We do love it when you dress up in the latest flapper and dapper fashions, but please refrain from wearing real fur. Our landlady is an animal lover.

Time is warped here; it is between 1933 (Prohibition-era) 1935.

A few days before the event you will receive three emails from Frank Spanos granddaughter, Cynthia von Buhler, with the secret password.
