BOTF16-01: SDFF Best of the Fest "Of the Sea" with "Quiet Title"

Our 2016 SDFF Best of the Fest encore series kicks off with two of our favorite films!

Mischa Hedges directs Of The Sea, which tells the stories of several Northern California fishermen and their struggles with the realities of fish stock depletion, climate change, and the global market for seafood. Mischa Hedges will be in attendance for this screening.

This is preceded by our 2016 Jury Award winner for best short documentary. Alina Taalmans lyrical Quiet Title provides an interesting look at family history and the ghosts that inhabit them.

You wont want to miss this great opportunity to catch some of the best documentaries that played at this years doc fest!
