Event
Beautiful and Bright
This concert is made up of a potpourri of music down the ages in praise of nature, art and the Holy Spirit. These favourites from our library are anchored by two major works - Morten Lauridsen's "Chansons des Rose" and the Bach Motet "Lobet de Herrn."
We will also feature the first-place winner of Vancouver Chamber Choir's 2015 Composition Competition: "Song of Nature" by Joshua Yang. In sum, this concert will take you on a breath-taking journey through beauty in its many forms. From the birds to the ocean, from the heavens to the earth, from dancing and singing - beauty truly abounds.
