Thrilling, compelling...An old mans body is found with three stab wounds and a number tattooed on his arm. A detective who is a second generation Holocaust survivor reluctantly works the case. The story interweaves past and present. In a series of flashbacks, we see the victim seeking connection, financial support and companionship by searching obituaries for widows to beguile. He finally feels the need to reinvent himself by membership in the most horrible club in the world: the club of Holocaust survivors.
