WordSong Forum VIII: "Laughing Together"
One poem, four songs, an interactive concert.
Wordsong brings its engaging approach to concerts with four new settings of Rebecca Blevins
Faery's sensuous poem "Laughing Together". The songs are by Boston-based composers
Peter Child, Howard Frazin, Tom Schnauber, and Andy Vores, and are performed by renowned
soprano Kendra Colton. WordSong is both a performance and a dialogue that seeks to
reconnect musicians and audiences through shared, active artistic experiences and to create
a community of listeners and musicians. It is a public conversation about intuitive musical
understanding.
