The Violin with the Dragon Tattoo at Christ Episcopal Church
Early Music Underground invites you to join nationally-acclaimed soprano (and regular guest on Garrison Keillor's 'A Prairie Home Companion') Maria Jette for an evening of baroque music from Scandinavia. Maria will be joined by baroque violinist Tekla Cunningham and harpsichordist Henry Lebedinsky for a program of works by Johan Helmich Roman - called the Father of Swedish Music - and West Coast premieres of music by Johan Henrik Freithoff and Johann Gottfried Palschau.

In addition to her 45-plus operatic roles, soprano Maria Jette has performed pop songs, chamber music, or oratorio with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Minnesota Orchestra, and with numerous symphony orchestras coast to coast. More information can be found at www.mariajette.com

Admission is $20 general, $15 seniors (65+), under 18 free. Off-street parking is available for $3.00. More information at www.emuseattle.com.
