Hollowbody Electric Band
Hollowbody Electric Band has been rocking the mid-coast of Maine, building a dedicated fan base that appreciates their unique blend of classic and alternative rock. The band has two prolific and versatile songwriters in Peter Alexander and Johannah Harkness, each of whom brings a wide range of influences-from Queen to Leadbelly. Their songs often feature rich three and four part harmonies. Alexander, a classically trained musician in his youth, disappointed his parents when he turned to rock and roll, but his songs have been featured on National Public Radio and recorded by internationally known artists. Harkness brings a quirkier musical and lyrical style with songs that are laced with irony and humor.
