The Ted Lewis Museum Presents Vaudeville
Circleville, Ohio - 1906: Step out with a wonderful memory as we pay tribute to Ted Lewis (then known at Theodore Friedman) early Vaudeville career in The Capital of the World. Delight in silent films and illustrated songs at the Electric Nickelodeon where Ted made his professional debut. Stroll down Main Street to the Metropolitan Theatre where Ted performed on the Gus Sun Vaudeville Circuit in three thrilling acts; Jules Held and Co. in Childhood Days, Friedman and Francis in The Warden and the Jailbird, along with the Y.M.C.A Ballet Co. Experience entertainment history with a cast of Pickaways most promising young performers and an 11-piece orchestra under the direction of Mr. Joseph Rubin. This uproarious Vaudeville show is sure to have you singing along and rolling in the aisles!
