Estática: YOSA v Abbey Road Pt 2
If you missed the Youth Orchestra of San Antonio (YOSA)'s recent live performance of the Beatles' classic album, "Abbey Road," at the Tobin, don't worry - we have you covered.
The second edition of the Rivard Report's music series, Estática, will feature music from "Abbey Road" and more by YOSA - as well as local bands Buttercup, Emissaries, fishermen, and YesBodyElse - on Wednesday, April 27th from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at the Pearl Stable.
The goal of Estática is simple: to introduce Rivard Report readers and the general public to some of San Antonio's most profound local musicians, while also raising money for YOSA.
"Each band will perform a Beatles song from the Abbey Road Live show, as well as a couple of their own songs, so the audience will get a taste of what made Abbey Road Live so special and will also get to know each of these bands in their own right," said Troy Peters, YOSA music director. "Add to this the unique power of a live orchestra performing with each group, and you get a memorable night you won't want to miss."
Tickets are only $15 and part of the proceeds go back to YOSA. We hope to see you there.
