Palestinian film, "Eyes of a Thief"
Palestine selected Najwa Najjar's feature film, "Eyes of a Thief", for submission to the Oscars for Best Foreign Language Film of 2015. Shot completely in the West Bank, with only Palestinian actors,"Eyes of a Thief" is inspired by real events. It tells the story of a Palestinian who returns to Nablus after 10 years in Israeli prison, to search for his wife and daughter. As secrets are uncovered, light is shed on Palestinian society -- from the inside.
